Woolly Mammoth's leadership has been instrumental in managing over 8 million square feet of construction, totaling more than $2 billion throughout the course of their careers.

Woolly Mammoth LLC was founded in 2017 to offer a more personal and efficient management approach. With our extensive industry experience in an array of construction sectors, Woolly Mammoth is able to provide competent management to oversee any scale or type of project. Our expertise covers all facets of construction management, allowing us to fill the roles of Construction Manager, General Contractor, Consultant and/or Owner’s Representative depending on our clients’ needs. ​Our experience working directly for developers combined with a strong understanding of real estate development analysis and ability to strategically assemble team/project components have provided a sound foundation for our expansion into real estate development.

MANAGING PARTNER AND PRESIDENT

Sal is co-founder of Woolly Mammoth LLC. Using his knowledge and experience developed over 28+ years in construction management/development, Sal’s objective is to continue to provide leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operations for all construction, project management and project administration activities. His responsibilities have included involvement with preconstruction tasks, development/management of schedules, budgets, interface between owners, consultants and contractors in conjunction with a staff of project managers, superintendents and project support. His primary emphasis remains on ensuring projects are delivered on schedule while achieving forecasted profits and maintaining the quality of work that exceeds expectations.

James Hausler

James Hausler, P.E.

PARTNER AND VICE PRESIDENT

James is co-founder of Woolly Mammoth LLC. James spent the first 5 years of his career with Jaros Baum & Bolles Consulting Engineers during which he designed HVAC systems for various commercial new construction and renovation projects. During the next 23+ years, James worked as a site superintendent and project manager, including several years working directly for development companies. His responsibilities have included involvement with design review, value engineering, purchasing, contract administration, scheduling, submittal review, trade coordination, Building Information Modeling, cost management, quality control, safety, testing and commissioning. This experience enables him to effectively manage all aspects of a project from start to finish.​
